ECHO is a volunteer based organization dedicated to reducing the incidence and impact of child victimization. We champion this goal through advocacy , public education, prevention and support services.

Description

The basic premise on which ECHO was founded-and continues to operate- is to provide a volunteer forum for community involvement with the problem of child abuse and abduction, or child exploitation. ECHO programs are available to residents of metropolitan Louisville, which includes seven counties in Kentucky and Southern Indiana, with a population of over 970,000. ECHO currently has over 200 volunteers who conduct the development and implementation of all ECHO programs. ECHO has developed many programs to fulfill its mission of victim support and community prevention education.

ECHO is a great organization with passionate staff and volunteers. They really care about the children they are serving and are doing all in their power to put an end to child exploitation.
