Description

The Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum is a project of the Rochester Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. The museum is run solely by dedicated volunteers and works in partnership with the New York Museum of Transportation to bring you a unique dual-museum experience of the railroad and transportation history of Rochester and Western New York.

It is cool to have your own train! It is difficult to describe the feeling of controlling thousands of horsepower of motive power with a flick of the wrist. Best is that they teach you how do run a train for free!
