The mission of the Arthritis Foundation is to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases.

Description

The Arthritis Foundation funds research to find the causes, cures and prevention of arthritis. Education programs provide up-to-date information on the treatments for the 170 types of arthritis. Specific programs include lectures, videotape library, monthly program calendars, Arthritis Today magazine and programs for medical professionals. Patient and community services include free literature, information & referral hotline, support groups, aquatic and other exercise programs and a loan closet.
