Mission Statement

We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release sick and injured wild birds while educating our community about preventing injuries and preserving habitats.

Description

We receive about 4,000 bird rescue calls per year. Sick and injured birds are brought into our Avian Hospital, where we try to rehabilitate and release every one. Birds that cannot be released are given permanent homes in our Wild Bird Learning Center, which is open to the public every day from 10 to 5.

Disappointed with the lack of communication I submitted an application on 6/6/22 to volunteer and was told someone would contact me to set up orientation waited 5 days and did not hear anything so I emailed them back on 6/10/22 informing them that no one has called or emailed me regarding orientation. Today is 6/17/22 and still have not heard a word and for that reason I withdrew my application.
