Due to the high cost of prescription medicine and the lack of prescription insurance coverage, many people face the decision everyday of whether to pay their rent, buy food, or buy needed prescription medication. MEDBANK of Maryland is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency that strives to help our patients obtain a better quality of health, and thus, a better quality of life. MEDBANK works as the liaison between the patient, the physician, and the pharmaceutical companies. As the liaison, we to help complete the paperwork necessary for enrollment in pharmaceutical companies' Patient Assistance Programs (PAP). .
