Description
The Sci-Tech Center of Northern NY is a small "hands-on" science museum, located in the center of Watertown, New York. Along with about 40 exhibits for children and adults, the Center offers workshops for various ages and interests.
The Center also provides outreach programming in local school classrooms, community centers and at other remote sites.
Throughout the year, the Sci-Tech Center runs nighttime public astronomy observing sessions, including the annual "Evening Under the Stars" - run each August to highlight the Perseids Meteor Shower.
Each May, the Center sponsors the Northern New York Science Fair for 4th to 8th grade students from Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence Counties.
