Mission Statement

RSVP: "To enable persons aged 55 and older to effectively use their time, energy, and skills in volunteer service to the community."

- funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service and sponsored by Senior Citizen Services of Greater Tarrant County


RSVP of Tarrant County works with over 100 non-profit agencies, helping them recruit and place senior volunteers. Tarrant County RSVP also manages two "signature" volunteer programs: Seniors and Volunteers for Childhood Immunization (SVCI) and the Senior Medicare Patrol, in addition to volunteers with Senior Citizen Services' Wellness Programs and 30 Senior Centers.

Apache Angels in Colleyville is an excellent organization. The heartwarming smiles from the children are priceless. Their faces light up when they see the horses and ride on them during therapy.
