Mission Statement

The Hope Chest for Women commits to providing limited financial assistance for western North Carolina women diagnosed with breast or gynecologic cancer and who are experiencing economic difficulties due to treatment cost.

The Hope Chest acts as an information link to the American Cancer Society and other organizations to provide resources for women and their families.

The Hope Chest supports health and wellness education and cancer prevention programs. Programs are offered through presentations in schools, at health faird, and by special arrangement.

Description

a 501 (c)(3) organization founded in Asheville, NC that grew out of a vision of a group of gynecologic oncologists and their staff. We approach cancer treatment by supporting individuals emotionally, physically, and financially.
