Mission Statement

We are a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible animal rescue organization whose mission is to save as many companion animals from euthanasia as possible. Although located in Melrose, FL, we do most of our adoptions and events in the Gainesville area.

Description

We take animals from the Alachua County Shelter and a few other sources and adopt them to good, permanent homes. Our animals are fostered or housed in our residential facility where we attend to their vaccinations and medical needs until they are ready to be adopted. We conduct adoptions at the Gainesville PetSmart in Butler Plaza every Saturday and Sunday, in Melrose once a month, and at special events such as Adoptathons at the Oaks Mall.

We rescue dogs, puppies, cats and kittens. Some of our animals have special needs.
