Mission Statement

Camp Promise is the brainchild of several families of children with neuromuscular disorders in the New England area who were inspired to hold their own camp in response to a lack of camp options for their children in 2009. A similar group has formed in Washington and we're proud to partner with Camp Promise and call ourselves Camp Promise-West.

Description

Camp Promise West is a one week overnight experience for children with neuromuscular disorders. This camp requires counselors and medical staff. Counselors provide one on one care of a child aged 6-17 with neuromuscular conditions which can include muscular dystrophy, spinal muscular atrophy or fredrich's ataxia.

Camp Promise West is sponsored by the Jett Foundation and hosted at an Easter Seals Facility in Vaughn WA.

We are seeking Highly Energtic individuals, preferably over 18 who would like to spend August 16-23 enhancing the life of a camper. All applicants will be interviewed and background checked.

Medical staff can be RN, LPN or EMT with current licensing in the state of WA.
