The Community Economic Development Center of Southeastern Massachusetts seeks to create a more just local economy by building bridges to resources, networks, and cooperative action for adults, youth, aspiring entrepreneurs, working families, grassroots organizations, and immigrant workers members of our community. The work of the CEDC is created and directed by the people who will benefit most from its success. CEDC challenges economic and political institutions and policies that exclude full participation and access to power by all members of our community.

v VITA Program: Provides free tax preparation for class residents. The CEDC has helped bring over 2.5 million dollars back into the region
v Computer Refurbish and Recycle Program: Teaches middle school students how to fix and upgrade computers
v Computer Literacy Program: Educates older adults on basic computer skills and programs such as: Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet and Email
v CEDC Worker's Support Network: Supports all workers' rights to fair wages and safety on the job. Training for immigrant workers include ESOL classes, computer courses, and worker rights training
