The National Kidney Foundation, Inc., a major voluntary health organization, seeks to prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation.

Description

Our goals include Supporting Research and Research Training, Continuing Education of Health Care Professionals, Expanding Patient Services and Community Resources, Educating the Public, Shaping Health Policy, and Fund Raising.

The environment and walk itself was overcall enjoyable. It was extremely exciting as I got to interact with kind people. Along with the service director who was positive and showed genuine care.

Very well run event and the NKF employees were friendly and a joy to be around- I would highly recommend volunteering!
