Fund Development Coordinator VIRTUAL POSITION: VOLUNTEER NEEDS TO BE LOCAL TO LINCOLN PARK, MICHIGAN Assist us by raising money for our farmers market! Lincoln Park Farmers Market is a weekly Sunday farmers market from June through October with a fun holiday market in late November. We have farmers/growers, specialty food vendors and crafters at our weekly farmers market. We need someone who can help us raise money for our farmers market by primarily writing email marketing appeals, social media appeals and perhaps talking to local businesses, corporations and potential donors. Job Responsibilities: We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to assist us in fundraising initiatives by writing fundraising appeals for email marketing and social media. Also to increase our sponsors and donors for Lincoln Park Farmers Market. This is an unpaid volunteer position. Job Duties: Write fundraising appeals for email marketing and social media posts. Cold calling to various companies soliciting donations, sponsors for the Lincoln Park Farmers Market. Research companies and establish relationships with those who are willing to donate or exclusively partner with Lincoln Park Farmers Market Promote and discuss Lincoln Park Farmers Market mission, sponsor benefits and opportunities with prospective donors Fund Development Coordinator Skills and Qualifications: Must have own computer, Internet, mobile phone and transportation. Experiene at writing fundraising appeals for email marketing and social media posts. Great Communicator, sales skills, Ability to work from home, Self-Motivator ,Great personality/ Enjoy interacting with people, great judgment, ability to network and build relationships with various companies & individuals, Flexibility, Deadline-Oriented, Handles constructive criticism and direction well. Fund Development Skills and Qualifications: Resource Development / Management Fundraising Email marketing Donor Management Customer Acquisition Community Outreach Sales Marketing Computer knowledge

Friends of Lincoln Park Farmers Market is seeking interested parties to join the Friends of Lincoln Park Farmers Market board. Friends of Lincoln Park Farmers Market manages and coordinates Lincoln Park Farmers Market, a seasonal Sunday outdoor farmers market. The Lincoln Park Farmers Market has been a community asset, since 2007, providing a boost to the local economy, a place to socialize and, of course, a location to pick up fresh produce, specialty foods and handmade craft items. Friends of Lincoln Park Farmers Market, formed in 2012, is a 501c3 non-profit. The dedication of this group of volunteers makes the market possible. We have both immediate and future openings of the board. Enthusiasm and dedication are more important than specific skill sets. We’re a pretty hands-on board so there is a variety of ways for Directors to contribute.

Must be local to Lincoln Park, Michigan / Metro Detroit area Do you love farmers markets? Love the local food scene? We need a FARMERS MARKET VENDOR RECRUITER! Help us grow our market! Our market is a traditional farmers market with farmers with locally grown produce & plants, specialty food vendors under the Michigan Cottage Food Law and commercial food licenses as well as artists/crafters with their handmade arts & crafts. All Michigan grown and made! The ideal volunteer will help us recruit local farmers, specialty food vendors and artists/crafters for our farmers market. Preferably someone in SE Michigan. This year our market is every Sunday, 11 am - 3 pm, June through October with a fun Holiday Market in late November. We will supply you with our application, etc. as well as train you on our market mission, vendor niche etc.
