Located in downtown Dover, the museum has 20 hands-on exhibits that explore world cultures, history, arts, sciences and math and provides dozens of educational programs, workshops, community events and an art gallery. The Museum has recieved recognition for outstanding service to children and families in challenging circumstances through its many outreach initiatives, including the Association of Children's Museums' Promising Practice Award, the Governor's Art Award for Cultural Access and Leadership and Citizen's Bank Champion in Action.
