Mission Statement

Boys Hope Girls Hope helps academically capable and motivated children-in-need to meet their full potential and become men and women for others by providing value-centered, family-like homes, opportunities and education through college. Saving child at a time.

Boys Hope Girls Hope ( )helps children who are at risk--but who are academically capable and show great promise--to achieve their full potential by providing them each with a value-centered, family-like home, a quality education through college and a host of ancillary services and opportunities. The success of Boys Hope Girls Hope is based upon one simple truth: children who have a stable, happy and permanent home life are much more likely to succeed in school and adulthood.

Boys Hope Girls Hope of Southern California is affiliated with the international organization BOYS HOPE GIRLS HOPE. BOYS HOPE GIRLS HOPE currently operates a national network of 39 BOYS HOPE GIRLS HOPE homes in 16 U.S. cities and three foreign countries. Founded in 1975, BOYS HOPE GIRLS HOPE is a privately funded, non-profit organization that works to make a profound impact in the lives our determined young people. Our approach is unique and holistic providing abused, neglected, and at-risk children who have demonstrated academic potential with four critical ingredients for success: Homes, Opportunities, Parental role models, and Education. We opened our first home in Southern California for boys in 1991. Our second home, Girls Hope, followed in 1996.
