KIPP JOURNEY Academy is a student-focused community where all students develop the intellectual, academic, and social skills needed to understand and take action on issues they encounter in everyday life. In a rigorous, safe, and personalized learning environment, a culture of responsibility and service is fostered, empowering and equipping all learners to become more active and engaged citizens.

Description

The school name, KIPP Journey Academy is derived from the belief that inspiration and passion are catalysts for sparking and achieving real change over time. As the school's mission communicates, students will be empowered and equipped to become more active and engaged citizens, and in doing so will be inspired to see the importance of becoming a change agent while identifying that which inspires them. It is human to lose your inspiration, but it's imperative to find it again, and students at KIPP Journey will have the self-awareness and self-confidence to do just that. Throughout the four years, students will have the opportunity to explore what really inspires them in life, and consequently will have opportunities to act on those inspirations in a way that impacts themselves and others.
