MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research. The Association also provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education

Description

MDA conducts a variety of fundraising events throughout the year, aimed at raising funds for services provided in the MDA network. Those services include: providing flu shot reimbursements, aiding with the purchase of durable medical equipment like wheelchairs, leg braces and communication devices, supporting research, providing a week-long Summer Camp program for children ages 6-17, providing support groups and aiding with the cost of clinical visits and therapies.
