Assistance League of Los Altos

Description

The Assistance League of Los Altos, a local chapter, manages several programs that benefit the nearby local communities. Our premier program is H.O.M.E., a 42 two-bedroom apartment complex for outpatients of Stanford Hospital. This facility provides cost effective housing for people outside the area who are undergoing long term medical care. Our chapter also provides back packs to disadvantaged youth, books for the classrooms, and support for single young mothers. Our key fundraiser is the Costume Bank, a costume rental store located in downtown Los Altos.
