Members are choosen based on the quality of their work and juried by other members of the gallery. We host twelve exhibitions each year, including an open juried exhibition accepts submissions from the public.

Some of the organizations we work with as a part of our public programming include, MoMA, Hudson Guild After School Program, Cinema Sixteen, New York Feminist Art Institute, Bags for the People, Union Docs and many others.

Starting in 2009 we also began our WOMEN IN CRISIS series which focuses on issues women are facing internationally. The series has featured speakers from UNICEF, International Rescue Committee, and ECPAT-USA.

In addition we are host to many poetry events with writers Sarah White, Rebecca Gee, B. Amore and the online arts journal group Drunken Boat.
