The Waitt Family Foundation Technology Resource Center establishes access to information technology resources in communities through partnerships with community organizations, libraries and schools. We strive for community empowerment and coalition building to ensure that no one becomes information disenfranchised.

Description

WFFTRC is dedicated to searching for and stimulating an integrated, systematic, and holistic approach to the fundamental issues underlying the Digital Divide. Our past experience has led us to the realization that the existence of the Digital Divide and information disenfranchised environments are outcomes of a set of deeper underlying problems. This understanding places us in a unique position to be able to effect fundamental changes in addressing this growing problem.
