The Da Camera Society seeks to build and enrich community spirit by celebrating through music the history, architecture and diversity of our multicultural community; and by widely sharing its programming resources in order to bring music's life-enriching powers to new and underserved audiences.

Description

Founded in 1973 to restore chamber music to its original settings, the Da Camera Society presents around 25 subscription concerts each year (chamber, recital, jazz, chorus, chamber orchestra) in 15-20 different locations matching program and place, plus 5 times as many free outreach events. Since 1980, our moveable series Chamber Music In Historic Sites has presented outstanding artists in landmark buildings--matching the music with sites of architectural and historical significance.
