Mission Statement

Pet Angels Rescue Inc. saves primarily dogs and cats from public shelters, or pets that can't remain at their current homes & citizens that have taken in strays. We are dedicated to the sheltering and placement of animals, and public education of animal care and dedicated to bring people and animals together to enrich each other's lives. We believe that with Pet Angels Rescue's assistance, many animals can remain in their current homes instead of being admitted to animal shelters, while a new home is found. We advocate the importance of spaying and neutering to help stop the epidemic of pet overpopulation as well as providing education to current and future pet owners on responsible lifetime pet ownership.

Description

Pet Angels Rescue has been rescuing dogs, cats and other domestic pets from kill-shelters, citizens and the streets. We focus on finding quality homes after we have provided the animals with their full medical including but not limited to spay/neuter and vaccinations. We have adoption events at local PetsMart Stores in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on scheduled weekends. Pet Angels Rescue is just a hand full of dedicated volunteers that attend these events, update the web pages and maintain the animals' care, at their home, in-between adoption events and arrange meeting with animals and potential owners.

Pet Angels operates completely on the donations of citizens that donate money at our adoption events, donation fees are accepted for the adoption of the animals to help cover the cost of the animal's medical treatments given. Roughly thirty hours a week is spent caring for and preparing for the animals and events by each of our volunteers.

My family adopted a loving dog from Pet Angels last year. Their care and passion about rescuing animals was quite evident and they have been a great source of information. This organization definately deserves your support.

I adopted a Husky/Shepard mix from petangels. The dog is the most adorable addition to our family. She is so we behaved and perfect with kids and other pets. The people we adopted her from were extremely helpful with the questions I had.
