Mission Statement

The goal of the community coach program is to reduce recidivism and encourage positive relationships.

Description

The Community Coach Program connects members of the community with released prisoners. The goal of the mentor program is to reduce recidivism and encourage positive relationships. Coaches mentor a participant for a period of six months and meet once a week. Matches are carefully made based on gender, age, interests and experiences. A training session equips coaches with the knowledge they will need. MPRI staff will help support the coaches throughout the match.
