DocuWest Film Festival

Description

Foothills Art Center, in conjunction with Artful Journey School of Fine Art, presents the First Annual DocuWest Film Festival. Set in beautiful Golden, CO, DocuWest includes feature and medium length documentaries, as well as documentary shorts.
This year's programming includes:

• 40 plus films from all over the world
• Feature-night presentation of "Kimjongilia," directed by N.C. Heikin. This film was accepted into Sundance '09 and stylistically looks at the brutal regime of Kim Jong-Il.
• "Hot topic" screening and discussion of three documentary shorts focused on the controversial and current issue of immigration
• Special program highlighting Colorado filmmakers
• And much more!
