Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
Teachers Without Borders was established in 2000 as a non-profit organization, based in the United States, with operations domestically and internationally Teachers Without Borders closes the education divide through teacher training and community education.
Teachers are the largest professionally-trained group in the world, but they need our help. Teachers Without Borders has two flagship programs: 1) Our Certificate of Teaching Mastery, five courses (online) for professional development and organized around a global cohort who can collaborate on â  best practicesâ  in their field: http://www.teacherswithoutborders.org/html/certificate_of_mastery.html. Teachers can pay for the courses themselves or receive sponsorships. 2) Community Teaching & Learning Centers (CTLCs) which are local, accessible sites led by local leaders and supported by sustainable businesses, universities, and governments. ALL are disabled accessible. Description: http://www.teacherswithoutborders.org/html/ctlc.html. At such Centers, we offer courses on entrepreneurship, literacy, and health education, and training in HIV-AIDS prevention. We also offer youth programs in leadership, cultural exchange, information access, and community service, facilitated by information technology. Youth program information can be found here: http://www.teacherswithoutborders.org/html/youth_programs.html.
