We create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. We’re always looking for people eager to invest in the future of a child in their community. For a few hours, a couple times a month, you can give (and receive) the invaluable gift of friendship.

Description

Big Brothers Big Sisters operates under the belief that in every child is incredible potential. We have been matching caring adults with local children for more than 45 years and have impacted the lives of over 11,000 youth. Big Brothers Big Sisters aims to make meaningful, monitored matches between volunteers ("Bigs") and children ("Littles"), ages 5 through young adulthood in Erie, Niagara and the Southern Tier. These quality relationships are built on friendship and trust, and are proven to be a significant positive influence in the life of the child, and the volunteer.

I love to be around children and just people in general. I love to help out anyone that I can and will try my best to do what I can do. I would love to be able to be a big sister to Someone that needs it or just needs someone to talk to and just be there for them and show them the love and support that they want.
