The purpose of the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure is to contribute to the eradication of breast
cancer as a life-threatening disease by raising funds and awareness, creating a positive
community of supporters, and providing education.

Description

Taking place in 15 cities nationwide, the Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a series of three-day,
60-mile walks that raise millions of dollars for breast cancer research, education, and community
health programs. Eighty-five percent of the net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
