CASUSA is committed to meeting the needs of three primary groups: Students, educators and business/ industry. CASUSA is dedicated to helping its members develop solid technical, leadership and employability skills. In addition, it supports and rewards the efforts of its members through professional development and recognition programs. CASUSA is pro-active in developing beneficial relationships with business and industry. CASUSA is a non-profit organization.
California SkillsUSA-VICA, Inc. activities develop positive attitudes, builds self-esteem and empower students to excell. We give students a head start in developing many valuable professional skills such as communications, interpersonal abilities, time management, teamwork, and more. CASUSA supports chapters in California public secondary (high schools) and post-secondary (community colleges) by providing students an oppertunity to compete in trade, technical and leadership skill areas. CASUSA provides teachers/advisors workshops and seminars to develop the skills needed to meet the objectives of the organization. Because CASUSA works hand-in-hand with business and industry, student members get the skills employers want.
