Mission Statement

The US Naval Sea Cadet Corps is a federally chartered youth organization which helps Americans ages 11 to 17 develop leadership skills, self-discipline, citizenship, and responsibility. The program also allows youth to explore Navy and Coast Guard life while spending time in a drug-free, gang-free environment.

Description

The Sea Cadet Corps is a youth organization for 11 to 17 year old boys and girls. While the main focus is on learning about the sea services, cadets will have the opportunity to experience many other activities, including community service, performing color guard in parades and ball games, recieving instruction from police and firefighters, and traveling to military bases and ships.
