Mission Statement
Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition opportunities for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. By participating in our program, athletes gain confidence and self-esteem that carries over into their every day lives, helping to make the contributing members of their community.

Special Olympics is an international organization with programs around the world. Special Olympics Northern California is the Northern California program and is divided into regions and areas to better serve people at the local level.
