Mission Statement

Thousands of animals are euthanized every day because there are not enough homes for all of them. The mission of The Carolina P.A.W.S.(Pet Adoption and Welfare Society) is to work to protect homeless and abused pets and companion animals by: · Raising the awareness of the homeless, neglected and abused animals · Eradicating the euthanasia of healthy and adoptable companion animals via spay/neuter programs and education

  • Educating the general public in the proper care of animals and the importance of reducing pet overpopulation
  • Working for the welfare of all animals
We accomplish this mission by: · Providing veterinary care and temporary housing (foster homes) for homeless animals · Providing an adoption outlet for the permanent placement of these animals · Working both independently and together with local rescue organizations.
