Mission Statement

The Volunteer Interfaith Caregiver Program, a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, is a critical Cochise County resource for Senior and disabled residents. VICaP Volunteers and van drivers and volunteers provide for medical appointments, (to include all Tucson area medical facilities), and grocery shopping. We also provide respite sitting, handyman help, and free Emergency Dialers. All services are provided free of charge but donations are welcomed and appreciated.

Description

Services include transportation, friendly phoning, friendly visiting, personal business assistance, minor home repairs, shopping assistance and respite sitting.

Reimbursement may be available for volunteers who provide transportation.

I have always had a heart for elderly people and I have taken care of my grandmother before she passed away. This would be a good opportunity to give back to the community
