Mission Statement

The PC Learning Center's mission is to provide free basic reading, writing and mathematical skills to both adults and children. Our primary goal is to establish and maintain literacy programs throughout Pulaski County to lower the percentage of illiteracy.

Description

We provide literacy services to adults and children in an effort to help them reach their desired reading level. We are always looking for volunteers/tutors to work one-on-one or in small groups with children, young adults, adults and senior citizens. PC Learning Center offers: -Basic tutoring for adults and children
-Family Literacy Programs
-Ready-to-Learn After School Program
-Recovery House Literacy
-ESL (English as a Second Language) Program
-Seniors in Literacy
-Perfect Gentlemen and Lovely Ladies Mentor Program
-Job Corps Literacy Enrichment Program
-Adopt-a-community center initiative PC Learning Center is a partnered organization with Americorps.
