The mission of WARM is to provide a continuum of care and service to the homeless and needy by providing affordable housing and assuring supportive services, and to help the homeless and needy build self-esteem and move toward independent and responsible living.
The WARM Center operates a 19 bed homeless shelter for men and women, along with a community soup kitchen that serves lunch and dinner 365 days a year. Among WARM's programs is Harvest Homes, a supportive housing program that places homeless families directly into apartments. WARM has a Community Critical Needs caseworker that provides assistance with utilities payments, temporary housing for homeless families, and social service referrals to prevent homelessness. WARM also offers free tax filing, and a welfare to work clothing program, Attire for Hire , where indviduals can receive free clothing.
