Mission Statement

To eliminate the euthanasia of healthy or treatable animals in Alabama by aggressively promoting a low or no cost spay & neuter program on a community by community basis. Working with local and non-local entities to help support this program and encourage a high level of participation of services offered. Developing the most efficient means of providing low or no cost spay and neutering to each participating community.

Description

The Alabama Spay/Neuter Clinic, one of The Humane Alliance's high-volume clinics opening across the country, opened in the Birmingham area on June 3, 2008. Our goal is to stem the tide of unwanted and abandoned companion animals by offering low cost spay and neuter surgeries. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and work with rescues, shelters and pet owners.
