Mission Statement

Wilderwood Service Dogs is to be
the standard of excellence to the
neurologically impaired by
providing highly specialized service
dogs giving hope and support
for a better life.

Description

Wilderwood provides service dogs for the neurologically impaired including, but not limited to, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and children on the Autism Spectrum. Wilderwood's dogs have allowed Parkinson patients to live independently. Children with Autism have gone from nonverbal to verbal, have less meltdowns, no longer are flight risks, no longer experience and participate in self stimming behaviors and some have even begun to show empathy simply by adding a service dog to their daily lives.
