Mission Statement

The Charles H. MacNider Museum is a permanent non-profit institution conceived in 1964 and opened in 1966. The primary function of the Museum is to provide experience in art, to help people learn about the arts, artists, themselves, and about the world in which they live.

Description

A fine arts museum that acquires, preserves, exhibits and interprets a permanent collection of American Art, presents and interprets temporary exhibitions and houses a collection of Bil Baird puppets. We provide informal and formal art instruction; schedule arts enrichment programs, maintain an art library and a tour program.
