Mission Statement

This is an opportunity for all to volunteer in a Holiday Parade that is nationally/internationally televised. This is an especially great opportunity for those students and civic organizations to gain community service hours and help support a wonderful cause.

Description

The large professionally-managed parade takes place the fist Saturday in December. This professional event marches through the sstreets of downtwon Oakland to the happy, grateful looks of children and their families. The 100,000 spectators are entertained by costumed carton and storybook characters, marching bands, beautiful floats and giant balloons. This is truly a must see and a must participate. You will be glad that you did!
