A very friendly environment, student tutor interaction is well designed. We(tutors, even first timers like me) were well advised on how to conduct the classes which helped a lot. We were always welcomed to incorporate our own ideas and they assign a class you as per your comfort level. The organizers (Daniel and Cassie) were always in touch and kept us informed about any updates that we should know. Obviously the best part is the students who were consistent did improve their vocabulary. I shall always feel happy about it. I wish I had continued volunteering there but I moved out of the area, shall always be glad to return, given a chance.

I taught a semester of ESOL here and it was a great experience. The DLC is run very well with good staff and volunteers. There is a lot of support for new teachers (I had no previous experience) and it was a difficult semester but I learned a lot and it was extremely rewarding. I highly recommend contacting them if you're looking for a good volunteer experience!
