Friends of Whitefish Dunes

Description

The Friends of Whitefish Dunes State Park assist with year-round acitivities which enhance the park. Much of the everyday activities range from environmental education and interpretation, to invasive species work, park maintenance and park improvements. The Friends also provide financial support to the park for educational programing, facility repair and replacement, resource protection and inferstructure development. We raise this revenues through membership fees, donations, Friends mechidise, book store, grants and special fund raisers. We provide for the distribution or sale of appropriate interpretive material such as: books, pamphlets and photography of the park. Additionally we provide financial support to the park for the furtherance of its interpretive programs, facilities, and resources.
