Mission Statement

Friends of the Bay is a nonprofit environmental organization located in Oyster Bay, New York. Our mission is to advocate for the protection, preservation and integrity of the Oyster Bay and Cold Spring Harbor estuary, from Mill Neck Creek to Cold Spring Harbor, and its watershed.

Description

This is accomplished through advocacy (i.e. influencing public officials), action (i.e. wetland restoration, beach clean-ups) and research (water quality monitoring).
