Mission Statement
The Kalamazoo Regional Educational Service Agency is a regional educational agency designed and commited to providing educational support and regulatory services to all the public and non-public schools within its legal boundaries. K/RESA also provides educational leadership to school districts and acts as a pro-active education force in Southwest Michigan. To accomplish these tasks, K/RESA must be a communicator and facilitator as well as a recognized partner working with our local community, state Legislature and the state Department of Education. K/RESA recieves its legal authority from the state Legislature and the state Department of Education. K/RESA recieves its legal authority from the state Legislature and the state Board of Education but it recieves its credibility by being responsive to the needs of local educational agencies, and ultimatly, the students. The number one goal of K/RESA is service.
Description
Croyden Ave school is a center-based program for students with severe impairments and/or autism. We offer you an opportunity to gain valuable experience through volunteer work with special education students.
