When a child is removed from their home, they are scared and confused. They usually don't understand what has happened to them and their family. Joni and the CASA volunteers go thru tremendous efforts to help these children with as smooth of a transition as possible. You are only asked to commit to one year. During that year, you will gather data from a variety of sources and YOUR VOICE will be heard in the court systems in determining the best course of action for that child. This is one of the best volunteer organizations I've ever had the pleasure of helping.
