The mission of the Alumni Sharing Knowledge program is to facilitate meaningful career networking and mentoring experiences by connecting DePaul University alumni with interested students and alumni though informal mentoring and networking activities and relationships. Alumni Sharing Knowledge contributes to the mission and vision of the Career Center and of the Enrollment Management Division of DePaul University, through the development of strategic alumni relationships and networks

Description

The vision of Alumni Sharing Knowledge is to create a comprehensive, national DePaul University alumni career network to facilitate a seamless connection for current students to alumni and alumni to alumni to meet career mentoring and networking needs. DePaul alumni are the core resource and foundation for this mentoring and networking program. Core Strategies · Build an effective network of students, alumni and strategic business partners to support and enhance life-long learning and professional networks; · Strategically identify and engage local and national DePaul alumni to serve as models and informal advisors to students and other alumni for career and educational development; · Provide alumni with a significant means of connecting and remaining engaged with the DePaul University learning community and each other. Services · Individual career advising and mentoring · Group mentoring · Participation in professional networking events for students · Technology- enhanced career connections · Professional networking among volunteers
