CASA strives to ensure that the children of Douglas County grow up in safe, permanent, and loving homes by advocating for the best interests of children who have been abused or neglected and are under the protection of the Juvenile Court

Description

The Douglas County Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program trains community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children brought before the court. Volunteers gather information, make recommendations to the court, and monitor the situation until the child finds a safe, permanent home.
