Mission Statement
The William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum is dedicated to preserving, interpreting, and teaching about Jewish history, in particular the Holocaust, and the experiences of Jews in Georgia. Through its galleries and exhibitions, the Museum interprets the universal themes of tolerance, respect for differences, responsible citizenship, human dignity, and building community through the lens of the Jewish experience and serves as a resource for residents and visitors alike.

The William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum is a powerful tool in the fight against prejudice and intolerance. The Museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving, studying, interpreting, and enriching the history and culture of the Jewish community of Atlanta, the State of Georgia and the entire region. Through its two core exhibitions, special exhibitions and public programs, the Museum illuminates the modern Jewish experience.
