The Scientific Review Committee (SRC) reviews all project applications to ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations, including federal, state, and local laws governing fair entries.

Category Judging at the Synopsys Science and Technology Championship - March 13, 2025 We invite you to take part in encouraging future scientists and engineers by judging at the Synopsys Science and Technology Championship science fair on March 13 th. Judging will be held at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, South Hall from 11 AM to 5 PM. The Santa Clara Valley Science and Engineering Fair Association (SCVSEFA) has been managing an annual regional science fair, celebrating our 66th year. Our mission is "To awaken more students to the wonder and power of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)." At this year's event, more than 800 students attending middle and high schools in Santa Clara County, will demonstrate their research projects. These young enthusiastic students are the very scientists, engineers, and technical specialists that high-tech and biotech industries will depend on to push forward cutting-edge advances. Please join us to share your passion for science and technology , in support of the next generation of local innovators! There are many opportunities to volunteer, and it all starts with just one afternoon as a Category Judge! We need judges in all fields of science and technology so please take a look at the registration site for subject areas to apply your expertise.
