Mission Statement

To protect and conserve exotic birds and other wildlife, educate the public about proper care and needs of said wildlife in captivity and to provide permanent facilities for abandoned and unwanted companion pets.

Description

FaunaLink (1) assists in the conservation of wildlife, especially psittacine birds, by providing staff and facilities to accept, care for and breed birds and other wildlife; (2) provides funds for wildlife research projects; (3) disseminates information regarding the captive management and propagation fo wildlife; and (4) supports field research and conservation projects that are directed at restoring, managing and protecting wildlife, primarily psittacine species, which have been, or are being, depleted by commercial trade and habitat destruction.
