Mission Statement

The mission of the YWCA CASA Program is to provide support to children who are victims of abuse and neglect. Volunteers from our community will work directly with Guardian Ad Litems, Judges, and Agencies to help determine the best interests of the child.

Description

The YWCA CASA Program has been involved with the court. legal, welfare and area agency systems in the Ohio County area by using trained volunteers to be 'a powerful voice in a child's life'. Our goal is to see that 100% of the child abuse and neglect cases have a CASA volunteer assigned to them.
