Mission Statement

Bread for the world is a nationwide Christian citizens' movement that works for justice for hungry people by lobbying our nation's decision makers.

Description

We are located near Union Station and Capitol Hill. There are about 60 staff members of various faiths in our national office. Bread for the World currently has more than 45,000 members nationwide and is supported by 40 diverse denominations. Conservatives and liberals are drawn together in this movement around practical actions to help hungry people.
